Exposition "IZIS, Paris des rêves" à l'hôtel de ville

Après Ronis et Doisneau, la ville de Paris rend hommage au photographe IZIS à l'occasion de l'exposition "IZIS, Paris des rêves." Ami de Prévert et Max Chagall, Izis était l'un des membres du mouvement "humaniste" et était l'un des Five French Photographers exposés au Moma de New York en 1951, avec Ronis, Brassaï, Ronis et Cartier-Bresson. Plus de 270 photographies ainsi que des livres et des documents filmés retraceront l'oeuvre Parisienne de l'artiste.

After Ronis and Doisneau, the town of Paris pays homage to photographer IZIS with the exhibition “IZIS, Paris of the dreams.” Friend of Prévert and max Chagall, Izis was one of the members of the “humanistic” movement and was one of Five French Photographers exposed to Moma of New York in 1951, with Ronis, Brassaï, Ronis and Cartier-Bresson. More than 270 photographs as well as books and filmed documents will recall the Parisian work of the artist.
